You don’t deserve it you earn it!

Todays blog is about being busy when your on the customers dollar. As a professional, you have to always keep in mind that being productive during work hours is crucial not only for the success of your career but also for the satisfaction of your clients. As the saying goes, "You don't deserve it, you earn it." Someone once told me that if you have integrity nothing else matters, if you dont have integrity, nothing else matters.

This rings true in all aspects of life, especially in the workplace. Keep in mind your customers are usually paying you more per hour than they make themselves , so it is imperative that you use their time wisely. If you approach each task with this mindset, it can help drive your motivation and productivity. And make them feel it’s a dollar well spent. Not only will this lead to greater job satisfaction for yourself, but it will also generate client satisfaction and build a positive reputation for both you and your company. Today I watched a landscaping crew literally lay in the shade on the clients time, but i myself stayed busy and kept working, now granted I’m my own boss but the customer made it a point to mention my work ethic and even offered me lunch since they had’nt seen me taking a break all day. Therefore, always remember that how you spend your time during work hours determines the value of your services and shows respect for your clients' investment.
